Archmage who became Medivh's apprentice, he discovered the taint of Sargeras in Medivh and killed him (banished his soul) to prevent further damage to others. Responsible for overseeing the Dark Portal that connected both the Human and Orc worlds, he tried to seal the portal.
In dwarven, his name means 'trust'. Was trapped on Draenor when it exploded and the Dark Portal was sealed. Was subsequently presumed dead by the Alliance. With the recent re-opening of the Dark Portal, it was discovered that Khadgar had survived the war and was alive and well. In World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Khadgar lives in Shattrath City, assisting the Naaru in their war against the Burning Legion.
"Khadgar's Whisker" is a herb used in World of Warcraft to make potions.
